Minimizing Failure

At the 14th symposium on maintenance, INOSIM employee Torsten Hellenkamp has given a lecture. The symposium was arranged by Tectrion on March 20, 2013 in Dormagen, Germany. All contributions were accepted by the present professional audience with great interest, and were discussed lively.

The spectrum of the event enclosed subjects like the optimization of processing time in machine maintenance, ultrasonic flow measurement, application of energy-efficient electric motors or the simulation-supported analysis of failure and maintenance influences on production plants. For INOSIM, Torsten Hellenkamp pointed out how to gain a comprehensive view at the failure sensitivity of a plant in process industries, regarding its units and the whole production process with the help of process simulation software. In that way, risks can be identified and calculated.
