Process Optimization Symposium 2013

Bringing In Simulation

At the 3rd symposium on computer aided process optimization, INOSIM employee Torsten Hellenkamp has provided a lecture. The symposium was arranged by Chemstations Europe GmbH in cooperation with Infraserv Knapsack on February 21, 2013 in Hürth near Cologne, Germany. The main focus of the symposium was the optimization of chemical process operation and chemical plant design by use and application of process simulation software.

As already during the past years, the symposium was highly appreciated by a qualified professional audience. Global subjects like strategic planning or the coordination between several groups involved in the production (such as operators, plant layout engineers, or marketing managers) were in the focus, together with more detailed problems of everyday process engineering, like scheduling or chromatography.
